EB-1

Provides green cards to persons of extraordinary ability.

No requirement for DOL certification.

Such persons are usually the experts in their business field.

EB-5

A green card is available to the investor, spouse & dependents under 21 years.

The investor needs to invest $500,000 (or $1m) and create 10 full time jobs. Most investors invest in a regional center, which allows indirect jobs to be counted in addition to direct jobs.

EB-2

Grants green cards to persons with specialist skills & DOL certification.

Applicants are often doctors, and other professionals.

Family Sponsorship

Parents may sponsor their children.

Adult children can sponsor their parents

And of course a spouse may sponsor their husband/wife
